My weekend

My weekend was awsome i went to the snow with the youth group which was so much fun.
went to lake lyndon (mind the spelling) and have a bbq lunch and then found a spot just before lake lyndon where we could have a snow fight and slide down the mountain on taboggans which was so much fun. and it wasnt even that cold which was good even though i had a lot of layers of clothes on. Randell, lydia and stephen climb to the top of the mountain and slide down on taboggans which i thought they were crazy but they are the sort that would do that lol just joking. that mountain was pretty steep.
that evening i went to the movies with my friend and watched "you and me and dupree",
which is a really funny movie to watch, I recommend going to watch it.
anyway that is all i have to say.

Back to work

at church they have been talking about work and my work this week has been at practicum for my my nannying course. I have been looking after 9 month old twin boys so cute and 3 yr old girl so cute too.
its been so full on the twins are crawling around everywhere so they keep you on your toes lol.
the family are really nice they make you feel part of the family, its going to sad since i only have one more week at practicum but i got ask to babysit for them somtime so im looking forward to that. tonight i went to the movie night at church and watched piglets big movie, I thought it was quite a good kids movie yea i didnt think it was that bad lol.
but i am looking forward to going to the snow with the youth group on saturday so it will be fun.
last year went to the snow with the church and it was awesome so it should just as good lol.
i hope everyone who reads my blog has had a great week.
and I thought it would be cool to turn up in my pyjamas on sunday to church which is kinda embarrasing but who cares. but it will be fun. so if you see me in my pyjamas at church you no thats me. lol

Foot prints

this is a peom i found i think its really good it spoke to a lot.
one night a man had a dream. he dreamed he was walking along the beach with the lord. across the sky flashed scenes from his life. for each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belonged to him and the other to the lord.
when the last scene of his life flashed before him, he noticed that many times along the path of his life, there was only one set of footprints. he also noticed that it happed at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. this really bothered him and he questioned the lord about it. " lord you said that once i decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. but i have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life.
there is only one set of foot prints. i don't understand why, when i needed you most, you would leave me lord replied, " my precious, preious child, i love you and i would never leave you. during your times of trial and suffering. when you see only one set of foot prints, it was then that i carried you".

the holidays

My holidays were the best i have had in ages. I got to go on two camps how cool is that as i love going on camps. The leadership camp i went on was at living springs was awsome met so many new people from as far as dunedin and geraldine and people from all over christchurch it was great.
i went with andrew, lydia and amy. had a fantastic time learning about what leadership, what it means and what it involves. also we did this myers briggs personlity test it was so amazing to learning abot how different we are and how god wired us up how we need each other.
you could be an extravert or intervert, a senser or intutive, a thinker or feeler, or judgment or perception.
i came out as a extravert, senser, feeler, judgment.
which means i am a warm- hearted, talkative, popular, conscientious, born coopertors, active committee members. need harmony and may be good at creating it. always doing somthing nice for somone. work best with encouragement and praise. main interest is in things that directly and visibly affect people's lives.
so thats who i am.

Youth camp!

Youth camp was so awesome i really enjoyed going to hanmer we had a blast the best part for me was staying up all night and watching the soccer at 3am in the morning til 6am which the game wasn't worth watching but everyone was hyped up it was so funny you had to be there.
also watched a couple of dvds as well go to the hot pools on saturday night.
It was so nice to be able to soak up all the heat as its been so cold lately.
we stayed in a really nice bach its was almost brand new.
I thank camp aunti and camp uncle who came along and cook for us its so cool having you guys come along. we enjoy your company.
also me, amy, eulalia, eulita, sasha and anna went on the village cuisers that was awesome until amy lost her cell phone it drop out of her pocket on the road but some kind guy picked it up and handed it in to a man at the reception of a hotel he was staying at and we rang the cell phone up to c if anyone had picked it up and so somone had, we picked it up at the hotel, thank god its only a small community in hanmer.
I bet everyone else went on the camp sure had a lot of fun.
these holidays have been busy as my sister hannah is coming from blenheim to stay for the weekend so i am sop excited as i havn't seen her for ages.
and next week it is off to living springs for 4 days for xtend leaders camp which i am also looking forward and i reckon is going to be awesome gonna be my first time there to meet new people there gonna be great. yahoo. I hope everyone who has holidays at the moment that they are going great.

My week has been really good, i have been at course and we did this drama skit, it was on "the rumble in the jungle" so funny. and i was a rhino by myself as all the other animals in the play were in pairs. i was so brave and standing up talking in front of all the other practium familys and children. and i was so out of my comfort zone, but i felt pretty good apparently i did pretty well so thats good. today 1 of my tutors had her last day at college so that was sad as she had been there for a while. i really hope we have snow tomorrow as reported, last monday i played in the snow with my friends jaz and candy it was so fun, had a huge snow fight i was really happy we didnt have to go to school.lol.
tonight koru is on which is really cool and i no we will have lots of fun. and it will be great to meet new people. i have had so many assignments lately they seem to due every week one after the other. but i think this term has gone really fast. the holidays are due in 2 weeks so i cant wait as i will be going to hanmer the first weekend then my little sister hannah will come down from blenheim which so cool because i havent seen her for ages and my sister is so excited about coming down to see me i think she is a bit lonely as i have a big family and everyone has left home and she is the only left with my mum so yea i think i would be to.
but that is my update on my blog which i dont do very often.
as i find it hard to come up with something to write but now i have.
hopw it was not to boring lol. hehehehe

Saturday with the youth group

On saturday night oby had an event called the progessive dinner bus trip thing, it was so much fun, everyone got to dress up starting with the letter 'B', I dressed up as a beach babe so funny, I had like bikini bottoms over the top of my jeans and bikini top over the top of my tee- shirt and a jersey on top, and had a swimming hat and googles on and holding a bucket. It was a great turn out of people who came along. those who couldn't make it missed out on a great night event. This weekend it is shelley's birthday a happy 21st party so cool. and im really excited her actual birthday was on the 16th may. and also my little sister hannah's birthday was on the 17th may.
she turned 16 so cool i can't believe she is getting older. thats not as bad as turning 20 though next march how scary is that aghhhh.

Easter Camp!

Hi easter camp was really fun. I really enjoyed it as it was my first time.
I was fasinated by how many people who went to easter camp there were thousands of people who went.
the weather was really good nice sunny days which was awesome.
also the food was really good. the speakers were really good.
The worship was really great it really liven the place up.
I am glad i went to easter camp, as all the people who didnt go were missing out on heaps of fun so u better go next year lol.

hi everyone
i have been really busy lately thats why i haven't written in my blog.
i have been busy with my course its been so full on.
im so excited to hear that my mums cousin grandaughter is cuming from London she is about 3 months old called sophie such a lovely name, coming on tuesday.
so thats cool. i haven't been online for a while as i have lots of things happening.
on monday i get to go out to a family to teach and care for children.
i am so excited.
that bad news is that i have a sore throat and stuffy nose, its not very nice.
and its not even winter yet and im already sick its not good.
well i hope everyones week has been really good.

I hope everyone has being enjoying there holidays.
my brother simon is going back to belguim on the 1st of february, which is not long.
but its great to see him home anyway.
i am going down on the train to christchurch on the 3rd of february which i am really excited about. Today i went out to my dads grave with simon and his wife and sister hannah out in ward,which is about 40 mins out of blenheim on the way to christchurch.
for those who dont no.
for those who haven't seen the '' wow hits 2006'' dvd it has really good christian music and recommend it 2 everyone.
you can buy it at any of the christian book shops.

yay if you didnt no i got into the nanny coarse at the earlychildhood college education in christchurch.
and so excited to come back to christchurch.
its also awsome to hear that amy has come back from her big oe overseas.
another year to look forward.
i didnt have a very good christmas i was sick but other than that it was good.
hopefully saving up this year ad going on holiday 2 australia at the end of this year

hi everyone!
another year is nearly gone, man its gone so fast.
I can't wait till christmas because my two brothers are coming home for christmas.
and i am looking forward to enjoying christmas with them.
i recently got a letter in the mail saying i have been accepted into the nanny course at the earlychildhood college of education in christchurch so i am looking forward to that.
I have paid half of my loan and i am quite nervous as i have to pay it back before i leave home which there is only about a month and bit.
from the course i was doing, but didnt like it.
well i hope you have a merry christmas and happy new year.

Another year nearly gone!

this year has gone so fast i can't believe the year is nearly over ending with a big christmas.
i love christmas time its really exciting when all the family come home.
its awesome i only get to see my brothers at christmas each year so its always good to see them.
i have been really busy working so far i have payed half my student loan so that is really good.
i wanna get it payed off before the end of january, it will be a good feeling.

Not last weekend but the weekend before i went to christchurch for jasmines birthday. it was an awesome weekend i went down on the bus on the friday and stayed at my friends house candy she is really nice, a awesome friend who i miss very much. went to movies and saw elizabethtown, its really good movie it remindered me of when my dad died a bit, as its about this mans dad who died and he has to organise the funeral. it was such a hot day a beautiful day, for jasmines birthday. went to church on sunday morning. it was really good to see everyone at church who i hadn't seen for a while so that was awesome.
at the moment i am filling out my application form for the nanny course at earlychildhood college in christchurch i hope i will get in as i think i will.
and that will mean moving back to christchurch, i can't wait.
its going to be really exciting.
its really good how amy has a blog and she is keeping it up to date about her big oe.
sounds like she is having a blast overseas.

yah its a long weekend this labour weekend i am so happy because i can sleep in and do not have to work in the morning which i have been doing all week just to earn money.
its really sad that amy has left to go on her big oe . i am going to miss her so much.
the other night i was msn messenger talking to my brother simon who is living in belguim overseas.
and he was saying he gets payed for playing a friendly game of soccer.
its not a professional game.
its really good having msn because u can talk to people and it wont cost you anything.
why thats all i have to say.

Two funerals and a wedding

Today i went to a wedding, I love going to weddings its exciting getting all dressed up.
Have you ever seen that film four weddings and a funeral, well this was kinda different in the last few weeks i have been to two funerals and a wedding.
I got and email from my brother simon living in belguim he is working hard at his job.
it sounds like he might be living over there for a while so i hope to be able to save up and go on my oe and be able to see the world.
My mums friend turned 57 and we gave her a surprise party and it was cool.
all her friends came and people from our church came.
and it was like a tea.
I found out this lady I no found out she has cancer and suppose to be not alive so i thank god that she has another chance to living life, even though she nos that could die any moment.
life is so fragile.

Yay i can't wait till jasmines birthday because i get to come back to christchurch from blenheim and get to see all my friends from opawa church and other friends.its guy folks weekend so it will awesome.
My sister hannah might be coming down with me.
i have been listening to lifehouse cd i recommend listening to it, its really good music if you like that type of music.
